    Day 1 to 8 – Alaska Cruise

    Uncover treasures tucked away in the land called the Final Frontier on an Alaska cruise from Vancouver. Along the way, visit towns that once thrived during the Gold Rush era and relive history with your own eyes. You can expect to experience Native Alaskan culture and come face-to-face with some of Mother Nature’s greatest masterpieces. On a roundtrip Inside Passage cruise, enjoy quicker access to Alaska while also exploring the friendly ports of British Columbia.

    Day 9 to 15 – Vancouver to Rockies onboard Rocky Mountaineer Train

    After disembarking, the next leg of the journey will take you to the crown jewel of the Canadian National Park system.     1. Day 1 Vancouver

    2. Day 2-8 Cruise

      You will spend this portion of your trip on-board your Alaska Cruise and enjoying various on-board entertainment and off-shore excursions.

    3. Day 9 Vancouver

      Welcome back to Vancouver. You will be picked up at the Cruise Ship terminal and be transferred to your hotel to drop off your luggage.

      Spent the free day to explore Vancouver on your own. Or hop on the Skytrain and visit Richmond and its Golden Village.

    4. Day 10 North Vancouver to Whistler

      Departing early in the morning, you’ll be taken on a breathtaking rail journey through the stunning scenery of the Sea to Sky Corridor. Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to the resort town of Whistler, renowned for outstanding skiing and mountain biking, an array of culinary delights and year-round outdoor activities for both leisure and adventure travellers. Highlights of the trip include spectacular views of Howe Sound, the Coast Mountains, Brandywine Falls, Mount Garibaldi and the impressive Cheakamus Canyon. You’ll arrive in the early afternoon and the remainder of the day is at your own leisure.

      Overnight in Whistler.

    5. Day 11 Whistler to Quesnel

      A pre-arranged motorcoach will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and take you to the Pemberton train station (approximately a 35-minute drive), where you will board the Rocky Mountaineer train and travel to the charming rural town of Quesnel, the gateway to the North Cariboo. Enjoy breathtaking and varied scenery, from the river canyons and lush farmland of the Pemberton Valley, through the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon, to rolling hills and vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau. Highlights include the shorelines of Anderson Lake and glacier-fed Seton Lake, sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon, and the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world. Your day concludes as the train follows the banks of the Fraser River into Quesnel. Overnight in Quesnel.

    6. Day 12 Quesnel to Jasper

      Early in the morning, your journey continues eastward to the majestic Canadian Rockies and Jasper National Park. From Quesnel, Rocky Mountaineer follows the Fraser River north to the town of Prince George, then travels east through the forests of northern British Columbia, home to plentiful wildlife, including a large population of moose, caribou and bears. Upon entering the Rocky Mountain Trench, you are surrounded by the steeply rising Rocky Mountains to the north and the Cariboo Mountains to the south. You’ll continue climbing past Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, through Yellowhead Pass into the province of Alberta. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Jasper in the evening.

    7. Day 13 Lake Louise

      Yesterday’s Train into Jasper was only a glimpse of what is yet to come while you are in the Canadian Rockies.

      Travelling south today on the scenic Icefield Parkway and be on the lookout, as wildlife are often spotted along this stretch of the highway. If you are lucky, you can spot wandering moose, black bear and cubs, mountain goats, and various other wildlife that calls this area home.

      90km south of Jasper, to one of the most iconic landmark the Canadian Rockies, the Columbia Icefield. Here, you will be have a chance to walk on the Athabasca Glacier, one of the six toes of the entire Columbia Icefield. Also, experience the exhilarating thrill walking onto the glass-floored suspension bridge that sits 918 foot (280 meters) in the air.

    8. Day 14 Banff

      As we continue south toward the Town of Banff, be on the lookout, as wildlife are often spotted along this stretch of the highway. If you are lucky, you can spot wandering moose, black bear and cubs, mountain goats, and various other wildlife that calls this area home! Along the way, you will visit Bow Falls & Surprise Corner for more picturesque scenes of the Canadian Rockies!

      In the afternoon, ride on the Banff Gondola and soar 698 metres (2,292 feet) on an 8-minute journey to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. Enjoy the many available activities on top of the mountain, including an astonishing 360 degree unobstructed view of the Banff Valley and it’s surrounding mountains.

    9. Day 15 Calgary

      Upon checking-out from Banff, this marks the conclusion of your Canadian Rockies journey. Your shuttle bus will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Calgary International Airport.
