    • Tyee Dining Room: All gourmet meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner and appetizers. Experience dining Relais & Châteaux style. Select either the evening Chef’s Tasting Menu or from the A La Carte menu.
    • Beverages would include wine, beer, pop, juices and water.
    • Fireplaces, soaker tubs, satellite televisions, robes, slippers and morning and evening turndown service.
    • Use of all indoor amenities and outdoor amenities at the resort – including an outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, steam rooms, a tennis court, a nine hole putting green and a games room complete with billiards, shuffleboard and foosball.
    • Use of 2 virtual golf games with equipment.
    • Use of a movie theatre complete with a traditional popcorn maker and more than 300 titles.

    1. Day 1 Arrive in Vancouver

      Upon arrival in Vancouver International Airport (YVR),  you will be greeted by your private transfer where you will be transported to your designated hotel.

      Depending on your arrival time, you will have the remaining day to relax and enjoy the hotel facility, or explore the city to relish an evening of gourmet dining experience.

    2. Day 2 Explore Vancouver

      Start your journey by visiting iconic landmarks such as the horticultural jewel of Queen Elizabeth Park, bustling Granville Island, historic Gas Town and Steam Clock, the iconic Canada Place and Stanley Park, etc.

      Alternatively, for a Culinary experience. Head to Richmond and start by visiting the quaint village of Steveston and enjoy a walk around fisherman’s wharf to enjoy many of its fresh sea food offerings; then head toward downtown Richmond and visit the ”Golden Village” for its rich Asian Culture, and follow the famous Dumpling Trail Experience which was featured by CNN in its ”12 of the world’s most enticing food and drink trails”.

      Or if Nature is your calling, enjoy a walk in the forest or in the trees by heading to North Vancouver and visit one of Vancouver’s original attraction in Capilano Suspension Bridge. Head to Grouse Mountain for an unique experience in the local alpines, or enjoy more forests, creeks, and beaches at the Pacific Spirit Park!

    3. Day 3 Vancouver - Sonora Resort

      Relax this morning or continue to explore Vancouver. You will be heading to Sonora Resort this afternoon via seaplane, and take an approximately 50-minute flight from Vancouver, bringing you directly to the resort landing pad.

You can experience world-class salmon fishing, wildlife viewing, and guided adventure tours in ancient old-growth rainforest. The region is populated with wildlife such as eagles, whales, bears, and more.

      Or stay within the Resort and be pampered! Relax and rejuvenate with the luxurious treatments at Island Currents Spa for total body and spirit wellness.

    4. Day 4 Sonora Resort

      Today, select one of Sonora’s Signature Experiences to fill your day’s activity. (Option tour fee extra)

       

      Option tour 1 Guided Grizzly Bear Tour (5 Hours) (Mid-August to Mid-October)

      The journey begins with a short voyage up Bute Inlet by vessel, through the Arran rapids to the Orford River. You will meet their experienced Homalco First Nation guide and travel by vehicle, through the beautiful moss-covered rainforest to various bear-viewing towers on the banks of the river.

      Typically, many bears are seen on this tour. However, as we are in nature, it is not possible to guarantee a sighting.

      To best enjoy this tour, guests must be able to comfortably board and exit the vessel, walk up and down a steep dock ramp at Orford Bay and stand for extended periods while viewing the bears.

      Option tour 2 Blind Channel Tour (3.5 hours) (May – October)

      Enjoy an extended eco-adventure tour by land and sea. Travel through the swirling whirlpools of Blind Channel in our zodiac-style boat while searching for Steller sea lions, Dall’s porpoises and Harbor seals. Then hop ashore and explore nature’s cathedrals in the lush temperate rainforest of West Thurlow Island, the most northern island in the Discovery Islands.

      The trails are well maintained but still quite wild. To best enjoy this tour, you must be able to comfortably board and exit the vessel, walk for an extended period on natural and uneven forest trails and climb a steep trail, similar to a flight of stairs.

      • Safety equipment, binoculars and hydrophone headsets

       

      Option tour 3 Ocean Kayaking (4 hours) (May 1 – September 10)

      Dip your paddle in emerald waters, takes you through Surge Narrows Marine Park, home to nutrient-rich waters and a spectacular variety of colourful intertidal critters. Observe the sea birds, seals, porpoises, dolphins, and sea lions that play in the kelp beds and share the waters that we paddle.

    5. Day 5 Sonora Resort

      Experience a Spa treatment like no other.

      Enjoy the Island Currents Spa and let the treatments and speciality therapies revitalise you. It is said that as the ocean currents weaves its way around this secluded island, it cleans, renews, and purifies the water and brings rejuvenation to the guests.

      Also consider spending quieter moments by immersing into mineral pools to enjoy the natural inspired.

    6. Day 6 Sonora - Vancouver

      Take the afternoon flight back to Vancouver to conclude this magical vacation.

      So spend the morning to relax at Resort, or any last minute bucket list like taking the Archery lesson and imagine yourself competing in ”The Hunger Game” or fighting a great battle in ”The Lord of the Rings”!
