    Twin Falls Lodge is an all-inclusive, fly-in fishing destination located in the beautiful Boreal forest of Northern Saskatchewan. We are nestled between two sets of waterfalls on the historic Churchill River system.
    From world calss fishing to guided cultural tour of the area, visit locations such as the amazing Nistowiak Falls, view ancient Indigenous rock paintings, and the Holy Trinity Anglican Church – the oldest building in Saskatchewan.

    Fishing

    Twin Falls Lodge is especially noted for its exceptional season-long walleye fishing due to the cold, fast moving water of the Churchill River system. The waterfalls on either side of the lodge offer a great natural spawning and feeding ground for walleye and northern pike.Enjoy your fishing trip in a guided 18-ft Lund boats equipped with padded swivel seats, floorboards, and 25 horsepower outboard motors.​ For the adventurous angler, Twin Falls Lodge has access to 4 portage lakes located a short distance off the Churchill River.​

    Lodging

    All cabins are equipped with three-piece bathroom, electric heat, towels and linens, mini fridge, daily light housekeeping service, and amazing views. There are four cabins with four single beds and three suites with a queen bed and single pull-out couch.


    The 1200 square foot main lodge is an open concept space with dining tables, lounge area, bar, washroom, and wood burning stove. The front deck of the lodge is west facing and the sunsets over Robertson Falls are breathtaking.

    1. Day 1 Arrive in Saskatoon

      Welcome to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; a vibrant city in the Canadian Prairies, the fourth quickest growing city and second-youngest population in all of Canada.

      Feel free to roam the city this evening and move around at your own pace. For dinner, we suggest you visit the
      Odd Couple Restaurant, offering guests a fusion of traditional Asian foods with a twist!

    2. Day 2 Arriving at Thompson's Resorts

      Arrive at the airport early and board your flight to La Ronge, SK. Here, representive from Twin Falls Lodge will meet you and help you transfer to Thompson’s Resort at Missinipe, SK.

      Settle into your cabin and explore the Missinipe settlement, and join the other guests for dinner at Thompson’s Resort restaurant in the main lodge for a fun evening.

    3. Day 3 Arriving at Twin Falls Lodge

      Waking up on to the beautiful sushine of Northern Saskatchwan and enjoy a breakfast experince on restaurant deck!
      Soon after being replinished by nautre, you will meet the staff at the dock to prepare for your 8 AM float plane flight to Twin Falls Lodge.

      Upon arrival, check into your cabin at Twin Falls Lodge, have a site orientation, and eat a light snack, as you will soon depart for a day of fishing with your local guide; Enjoy your catch and watch as the guide cooks up the perfect shore lunch on the spot.

      When you return to the lodge, rest, and have supper. Then enjoy your time on the main lodge deck overlooking the falls and taking in the amazing sunset.

    4. Day 4 Fishing Day

      Head out again for another day of fishing with your guide.

      Twin Falls Lodge has access to 4 portage lakes located a short distance off the Churchill River, so feel free to discuss with your guide as to what you want to see and do.

      Sotkowy Lake – A 1/2 mile portage
      Gross Lake – A 1/2 mile portage
      Burnett Lake – A 1/4 portage
      Dingwall Lake – A 1/2 mile portage + 10 min

    5. Day 5 Sightseeing Day

      Want to go for a spin?

      There are plenty of sights and sites to see in Northern Saskatchewan. You may choose to go for a day of sightseeing with your guide, or elect to go on an other day of fishing activities.

    6. Day 6 Fly Back to Thompson's Resort

      Today is your last morning at Twin Falls Resort, so we welcome you to join the crew at the main lodge for breakfast, before meeting back at the dock to prepare for your float plane flight to Thompson’s Resort and connect with your transfer back to Saskatoon.
